We are recruiting to several permanent positions within the following teams:
Commodity Team - You will process returns and registrations for different commodity tax programs. Returns and registrations will be reviewed based on the Fuel, Tobacco and Tourism Levy Acts.
Corporate Tax Team - You will involve in processing corporate tax returns, maintaining integrity of data, investigating problems and resolving any risk issues according to the Alberta Corporate Tax Act.
Rebates Team - You will process a wide variety of tax rebates and grants, as well as confirming eligibility for the commodity tax programs. Applications are processed under the Fuel and Tobacco Acts.
We are looking for individuals who are client focused, analytical, positive, and keen in applying their tax knowledge and accounting skills.
Qualifications: Minimum of a two-year diploma in a related field plus several years progressively responsible related experience. Experience in a tax administration environment is preferred. Enrollment in a recognized program leading to an accounting designation is desirable. Equivalencies will be considered.
